Urodził się w 1958 roku w Lublinie. Liceum Muzyczne ukończył z wyróżnieniem w 1976 r. w klasie organów prof. Z. Janczuka.

Następnie w latach 1976-81 studiował w Akademii Muzycznej im. F. Chopina w Warszawie w klasie organów prof. J. Grubicha. Swoje studia muzyczne uzupełniał na kursach mistrzowskich w Amriswil (Szwajcaria) i w Warszawie pod kierunkiem profesorów Daniela Rotha, Michaela Schneidera i Guy Bovet.

Od 1977 r. prowadzi intensywną działalność artystyczną, obejmującą liczne koncerty w Polsce, Austrii, Niemczech, Finlandii, Danii, Szwecji, Norwegii, Szwajcarii,   Włoszech i  Rosji.  Brał  udział w międzynarodowych festiwalach muzyki organowej w kraju i za granicą. Nagrywał dla PR i Radio Suisse Romande w Genewie, a także dla TVP i TV Rosyjskiej Irkuck. W latach 1980-84 współpracował jako solistaz Filharmonią Narodową oraz Orkiestrą Św. Antoniego z Padwy przy Ambasadzie USA w Warszawie.

We  wrześniu  1978  roku  został  finalistą I  Międzynarodowego  Konkursu  Organowego w Manchester. W maju 1979 r. otrzymał wyróżnienie I stopnia na XXXI Międzynarodowym Konkursie Muzycznym „Praska Wiosna”.

W latach 1981-84 pracował jako wykładowca gry organowej w Akademii Muzycznej w Warszawie, prowadząc jednocześnie klasę organów w tamtejszej PSM II st. im. J. Elsnera. W latach 1985-94 prowadził klasę organów w Instytucie Muzykologii KUL. Od 1994 r. jest nauczycielem gry organowej w PSM I i II st. im. K. Lipińskiego w Lublinie.

W  maju  1996 r.,  w  wyniku  przewodu kwalifikacyjnego przeprowadzonego na Wydziale Wykonawstwa Instrumentalnego i Wokalno-Aktor-skiego Akademii Muzycznej w Łodzi, otrzymał tytuł adiunkta I stopnia w zakresie gry na organach.

W latach 1997-99 piastował stanowisko organisty i konsultanta artystycznego Państwowej Filharmonii Lubelskiej. W latach 1984-92 pracował na stanowisku organisty Archikatedry Św. Jana w Lublinie. W czerwcu 1987 r. towarzyszył wizycie Ojca Św. Jana Pawła IIw Lublinie, grając na wszystkich trzech nabożeństwach z Jego udziałem.

Od. listopada 1998 roku jest organistą kościoła św. Tadeusza w Lublinie, a od lipca 2002 r. – organistą kościoła Salezjanów w Lublinie.

–          since November 1994 – performing in "ORSAXDUO", founded with with Andrzej Rzymkowski, an excellent Polish saxophone player, performing wide and unique repertoire for saxophone and organ at concerts in Poland and Germany;

–          since 1977 – extensive artistic activity including numerous concerts in Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark; Sweden, Finland and Russia. – collaboration with the Lublin State Philharmonic for over 10 years;

–             collaboration with the Catholic Universiry Choir for over 10 years;

1983-1994 – Professor of Organ, Catholic University, Lublin

1984-1992 – Titular Organist at St. John's Archcathedral in Lublin;

1981-1984 – Professor of Organ, Academy of Music, Warsaw

1980-1984 – performed organ parts with the National Philharmonic in Warsaw;

1980-1984 – soloist of the St. Anthony of Padua Orchestra established by the American Embassy in Warsaw

–             participation in international festivals of organ music-recordings for Polish Radio, Polish Television, Radio Suisse Romande in Geneva and Russian Television in Irkutsk;

1987, June – organist at all three services for Pope John Paul II at the time of the papal visit to Lublin;

1979, May – Distinction of lst Degree at 3lst International Music Competition in Prague (Czechoslovakia);

1978, September – finalist at the First Manchester International Organ Competition

6.             Education:

1981-1986 – continued education at international organ mastercourses in Amriswil (Switzerland) and Warsaw under the direction of Professors Daniel Roth, Michael Schneider and Guy Bovet;
